E-book Reader Loans Pilot Project Launched

This project was made possible by a donation of $3000 from the Gibsons & District Library Foundation with the corporate support of TELUS and the Sunshine Coast Credit Union. Others in the community who generously supported this initiative were Celia Fisher, Rudolph Kaul, Barry Reeves, Linda and Bert Reeve, Meredith Pue and Russell Smith of Odlum Brown. In 2011, The Library Foundation has funded special projects at the library, totaling $6000. Since making its first donation in 2003 the Foundation has contributed $54,600 to the Gibsons Public Library.
